- Process payments, credits, refunds, subscriptions, payouts, and related billing activity.

3. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, understand platform usage, and improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not function properly without them.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with:
- Tutors, parents, students, and administrators as needed to provide lessons, messaging, materials, support, and scheduling.
- Service providers that support hosting, database, authentication, payments, video, whiteboard, email, SMS/text messaging, analytics, storage, and security functions (for example, to deliver a lesson reminder you requested).
- Payment providers, including Stripe, to process transactions and support compliance, refunds, disputes, and payouts.
- Legal, safety, or compliance recipients where required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, users, or the platform.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets.
5. SMS and text messaging
If you provide a mobile number and consent to SMS/text messages, SleekLearn may send transactional texts about your account and tutoring services, such as lesson reminders, schedule changes, join links, and related service notices. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled lessons and account activity (for example, a few messages per week when lessons are booked). Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SleekLearn SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. For help, reply HELP or contact support@sleeklearn.com. After you opt out, we will not send further marketing or promotional texts to that number; we may still contact you by other channels (such as email) for account or legal notices where appropriate.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Children and students
SleekLearn may support tutoring for students who are minors. Parent or guardian involvement is required where applicable. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create their own independent accounts without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. If you believe a child provided information without proper consent, contact us and we will review and delete the information where required.
7. International and regional data processing
SleekLearn is a global, region-aware platform. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Regional settings may affect available subjects, curricula, languages, currencies, and tutors, but our privacy commitments apply across supported regions.
8. Data security and retention
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing emails, and opt out of SMS/text messages by replying STOP. We may still send transactional or administrative messages about your account, lessons, payments, or policies through other channels where appropriate.
10. Third-party links
SleekLearn may link to third-party websites, tools, or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy and may provide additional notice through the platform or by email.
